Been recording some drums for the LP "Jenny from the Woods" — this is a tribute to Blair, his ideas and music, with some tracks inspired by him and his work, some remixed from rare fragments of his tunes, and some with his spoken words. Seen here is me (engineer), my son Gabriel (assistant engineer) and my son Oisin, Drums.

There's an early mix of one of the new tracks one the music page made
using blair's cassette recordings as source material — also working on a song with steve b, "jenny from the woods" (a phrase we came across in his emails) and that is going to be the title of the LP

Ah Dear Blair. We did wonder as we hadn't heard from him for a while. Very sad to hear. This site is wonderful. What an amazing legacy he left! Thank you! I met Blair in 1992/3 in Briarfield. His lovely mum made us sandwiches. We were pleased to invite him over to France in 1999 to witness the Solar Eclipse at my parents house. A load of us went - all ages -and it was a blast. I can't find all the photos but here's one of him and my dad at the kitchen table, a few of us looking out to sea and waiting for Moules Frites and fireworks ...
